Shaking hands with the owner of the most famous feet in football history after shooting a campaign.

I grew up listening to my grandpa telling us he lived across the street from Pelé's house in their poetically named hometown of Três Corações (Three Hearts). Having had the opportunity to pass this story along to the man himself is—by far—the greatest award my career has ever given me.

Currently working as VP, Associate Creative Director at FCB Health New York, I started my career in the 2000s when the big deal for a Brazilian copywriter was to come up with catchy headlines. Since then, the world and the industry have changed a lot—and I've been doing my best to keep up with both. Over the past 17 years, I've made my way across the globe from Brazil to Europe to the U.S., joining agencies such as FCB, AlmapBBDO, Publicis, Africa, J. Walter Thompson, and BBDO Moscow.

Some of my latest recognitions include having my work selected for the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Poster House Museum in New York, as well as shortlists at the One Show, Clio, Art Directors Club, and New York Festivals. I also had the privilege of seeing my work featured in publications that have always been sources of inspiration for me, such as Lürzer's Archive, Communication Arts, and Contagious.
